Training for Providers

Child Care Services Provider Handbook
The Texas Workforce Commission's CCS Program helps eligible families with child care expenses and helps child care providers improve their services. Child care providers who meet certain requirements may become providers by signing an agreement with CCS that is outlined in the CCS Provider Handbook.

Texas Rising Star Program
The Texas Rising Star program is “a required, quality-based child care rating system of child care providers participating in the TWC's subsidized child care program.” TRS Certification is available to licensed center and licensed and registered child care home providers who meet the certification criteria.
