Child Care Assistance
Workforce Solutions East Texas' Child Care program benefits families and providers with scholarships, funding, and training. Services are available and provided within a 14-county region.
On January 13, 2025, TWC will present a new system called Texas Child Care Connection (TX3C) for the Child Care Services program. New applications for the CCS program will be temporarily unavailable from close of business January 6 – January 12, 2025.
We appreciate your patience while East Texas Child Care Services and TWC complete the transition to TX3C.
The new system will feature the following:
- A new statewide application for families
- An easy-to-use interface that works with mobile devices
- A common user experience for all Texans

Our Goals
- To offer families an expanded choice of accessible child care arrangements
- To offer families an identifiable source of child care information and financial assistance
- To support the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of children
- To assist providers with increasing and maintaining quality child care
- To support and strengthen the child care industry
- To provide a community resource for child care needs
Family Income Guidelines
Families must meet income guidelines to qualify for child care assistance. A family’s income must not exceed 85 percent of the state median income for a family of the same size and whose assets do not exceed $1 million.

Child Care Assistance Information for Parents
Early care and education is important in the development of children. The WSET Child Care Services program is a locally, state, and federally funded program designed to provide financial assistance to eligible families.
