The company often collaborates with community partners like Marshall EDC, Workforce Solutions East Texas, and local schools to attend events. Thumper Fab takes its commitment one step further by assisting Texas State Technical College connect graduates to employment opportunities with the company. Kester further explains that the company is currently providing industry feedback to the CTE program at Marshall High School as the school begins implementing a new welding program. Kester advised the importance of educating students about occupation pathways. “We have a lot of need for welders and a lot of need for people that have grown up around iPhones and iPads,” Kester explains that the equipment used in today’s workforce is very technologically driven. “It’s really cool technology, but it’s also driven by a young workforce.”
Thumper Fab’s dedication to economic growth and development does not simply end with collaboration efforts. The company hugely supports the Workforce Solutions East Texas Work Experience Internship program and the On-The-Job Training program. Thumper Fab has had many program participants develop the skills necessary to further their pursuit of education or employment in the industry and is proud to watch their growth during their time with the company. Kester attributes the company's success to one thing: dedicated and loyal employees. “We have a lot of passionate people here. They’re passionate about what we build. They’re passionate about the industry that we’re in, and we love building a good product. We love designing a good product. That leads us to do more in our next product and design. That really drives us."
